What Can You Expect at Your Session?

  • We are here to guide you in writing process. We will not do your reading, thinking, or writing for you.
  • We strongly encourage you to participate actively in setting the direction of your session.
  • We can support you at various stages of writing, from brainstorming for ideas to polishing the finished draft.
  • We can assist you with issues concerning development, clarity, organization, argumentation, citation, and revision.
  • We may not be fully versed with the subject matter you are doing your research on. Our expertise is in writing, not in specific theoretical tool.

What We Expect from You Before the Session?

  • You bring a list of problems that you are facing while writing your paper.
  • You present us with a sample of your own writing. It could be your thesis/term-paper proposal, draft of thesis/term-paper, essays, free-writing. (Optional)
  • You prepare a memo and send it to us via email. Your memo must include the following:

           • Specify which part of writing process you would like to focus upon during the session
           • Pick one or two specific topics to be discussed during your thirty-minutes session
           • A brief summary of your term-paper/thesis if you have already begun your research
           • Mention your area of interest for your area of research writing, if you are a beginner

  • You make an appointment with us via email with the above mentioned list.
